Hoja Verde uses cacao of the national variety “fino de aroma”, well recognized in the world for its aromatic floral and fruit qualities. They have worked with organic cocoa from the province of Esmeraldas of the UOPROCAE association (Unión de Productores de Cacao Arriba de Esmeraldas/Union of Producers of Cacao “fino de aroma” of Esmeraldas), who have differentiated themselves by having a good process of fermentation and varieties with aromatic qualities.
